First impression
When unpacking, I was initially surprised by the unusual merino wool mesh design (it looks a bit like erotic underwear). This certainly saves weight and you could already imagine on first contact that this construction allows both good ventilation and optimum moisture transport. The material feels soft and looks high-quality: the flat seams make a robust impression and both the top and bottom look well-made. The top has a half-high collar, which also protects the neck from the cold. A zip from the collar to the chest can be opened from both the top and the bottom. The zip is covered with extra fabric on the inside so that it does not scratch the skin. There are sufficiently wide cuffs at the sleeve ends for better protection against the cold. Ideally, the top is cut slightly longer at the back so that the back is well covered. The trousers are cut three-quarter length. Both the top and bottom had a normal cut on me - neither skin-tight nor ultra-wide. I wore the combination in size M with my height of 1.75 m and weight of 70 kg.
