With a total of 37 lifts and cable cars on both sides of the valley - the Hochjoch and the Nova - the Silvretta offers rewarding runs in all weather and snow conditions and there is something for everyone: Whether easily accessible, playful zones, which of course not only pleases our media team, or more remote, quiet areas that are nevertheless easily accessible with touring skis - there is something for everyone from the occasional off-piste skier to the ambitioned freerider in the extensive and varied backcountry of Silvretta Montafon. Those who are not yet so experienced in the terrain will find all the information they need at the Freeride Infocenter on the Grasjoch and can also enquire about guided tours.
We recently found some fine powder even after two weeks without precipitation - the playful terrain in the Nova Valley and the more challenging, steeper runs of the Hochjoch became our two favorites.
