The Air HS jacket from Mammut's Aenergy series is designed as a ski touring jacket. The material should be windproof, waterproof and hard-wearing on one hand, but light and breathable on the other.

The high pressure will stay with us until tomorrow, but then the general weather situation will change to much more zonal, mild westerly weather. This means more snow, at least for the higher elevations, albeit at relatively high temperatures.

As was already foreseeable last week, a powerful area of high pressure is currently building up over Central Europe. The high pressure will accompany us until further notice and unfortunately there is no snow in sight. The high pressure is blocking the current over the Atlantic and deflecting the frontal zone to the north, so that it is a long way off for us and does not affect our weather in a wintry way.

The WeatherBlog also wanted to try a clickbait headline. Did it work? We'll give you the answer right away: maybe. The current week is still relatively winter-friendly, but things will become more uncertain from the weekend onwards. A significant and rather longer-lasting moderation is likely, but the exact timing is still uncertain.
