Planet Earth keeps on spinning and the freeride scene and its filmmakers keep on making their films! And the protagonists, they also keep on turning and turning and turning! We are pleased to note that all kinds of new films have been created and that individualisation is progressing. Modern motifs are carefully handled by some productions and completely ignored by others, as in the more or less good old days.

The days are getting longer and longer, and the snow is getting creamier, slushier, stickier, heavier, slower... Summer is approaching! So let's dream again of social justice, long couloirs and deep storm days with old heroes! And we balance a few wintry highlines towards the end of the episode.

I've been searching for "La Liste: Everything or Nothing". After several live screenings, the opus magnum is now available for purchase in many ways. We highly recommend it! And because you always come across a lot of unexpected things when you're looking for something and then discover things you thought were long lost, there are all sorts of other things to accompany the main work!

The next generation presents the best entertainment, fresh enthusiasm, class and style at the Freeride Qualifier events. The events in Montafon and Nendaz make the big tour look like a kindergarten. The dilemma of subjectivity will always remain, but so will the fun and excitement of playing and dueling together.

With a lot of technique and strong brains, the masters of the trade twirl their braids tightly towards the valley. There is a rich history behind it and many legends have immortalized themselves with their descents. For those who want to try out existential battles on skis on the mountain, a place called Chamonix or the steep "Canale" of the Dolomites is generally recommended.

You can describe snow and avalanches using physics. In order to understand a snowpack, thermodynamics is required above all, which describes the partial pressures and transformation processes of the crystals. The triggering of an avalanche requires a description of the mechanical properties of the snowpack and fluid dynamics are used for its propagation. However, science can sometimes be quite dry.
