Wildspitze above TaschachhausSaturday to Sunday

Overall impression
Snow condition
Below the Taschachhaus up to 2000m, enough snow had fallen before the ascent on Saturday. With the good weather, however, there was only a little of it left on Sunday afternoon. However, we were still able to ski down most of it. If there is no fresh snow below 2000m, you will have to walk to the Taschachhaus from now on, and above the Taschachhaus there was up to 40cm of powder snow in places. Therefore 3 stars.stone contact especially Sunday from Taschachhaus to the parking lot.
Snow quality
In terms of quality, it was all there: lots of powder snow, snow caps in sun-exposed terrain, ice slabs, wet snow, avalanche cones and no snow at all
Risks
The avalanche situation was tense at the weekend due to the abundant fresh snow during the week and we were able to clearly see and hear many loose snow avalanches in very steep terrain due to the sunlight. There were also some large avalanches. Of particular note: avalanches on the slope between the steep section below the summit plateau and the lower part of the glacier towards the ski area. The danger spots were easy to avoid. The only critical section is the traverse from Taschachhaus towards the ski area on the glacier along the Urkund. And steep slopes, such as the avalanche slope mentioned above
Overall impression
All in all a great tour. We started late and were almost the last to greet the summit, escaping the hustle and bustle. Great snow over 3000m and amazing weather.
