Arc'teryx Academy: Content Creation with Loïc Isliker and Johannes Hoffmann

In this course with Arc'teryx athletes Loïc Isliker and Joi Hoffmann, you will immerse yourself in the most important aspects of content creation in the backcountry.

You'll get tips and tricks for storytelling on the go - plus a few insider hacks for capturing unforgettable images and videos. Finally, there will be a short review and editing session in which the two athletes will show you how to optimise your footage and get the best out of your shots.

Learning objectives

  • Gain insights into what it takes to capture winter sports in photographs and expand your photography knowledge with the support of a professional.

Equipment

  • A camera

  • In addition, a simple mobile phone or a GoPro or DSLR or Polaroid, or even a film camera (size or quality doesn't matter)

  • Ski pass*

  • Ski/snowboard

  • Ski poles

  • Bindings

  • Ski boots/ Snowboard boots

  • Sufficient warm clothing for a day on the mountain, expect temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius

  • Jacket, trousers, midlayer & Underwear

  • Helmet

  • Gloves

  • Backpack* included: Avalanche probe, avalanche transceiver, avalanche shovel (metal)

*Avalanche airbag backpacks are recommended but not mandatory

Skill level

  • This course is aimed at anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of content creation and take the next steps in snow photography and videography.

  • All levels of skiing and snowboarding ability are welcome.

Costs

  • €210**

**The ski pass is not included in the course price and must be purchased directly from the ski resort. We recommend doing this in advance to avoid queues.
