Join us as we photograph a female Arc’teryx athlete while exploring one of the best freeride destinations. You'll learn key elements of ski and snowboard photography, from camera settings to composition and capturing movement. Warning: this clinic might make you want to quit your day job!

Learning objectives

  • Gain insights into what it takes to capture winter sports in photographs and expand your photography knowledge with the support of a professional.

Equipment

  • Camera

  • Ski pass

  • Ski/snowboard

  • Ski poles

  • Bindings

  • ski boots/ snowboard boots

  • Sufficiently warm clothing for a day on the mountain, expect temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius

  • Jacket, trousers, midlayer & Underwear

  • Helmet

  • Gloves

  • Backpack* included: Avalanche probe, avalanche transceiver, avalanche shovel (metal)

*Avalanche airbag backpacks are recommended but not mandatory

Skill level

  • This course is aimed at anyone who wants to expand their photography knowledge and take the next steps in snow and winter sports photography.

  • All levels of skiing and snowboarding ability are welcome.

Costs

  • €210**

**The ski pass is not included in the course price and must be purchased directly from the ski resort. We recommend doing this in advance to avoid queues.
