Affected are all airbag systems of generation 3.0, this applies to RAS and PAS systems, as well as the products under the Snowpulse Highmark brand with the Mammut airbag system 3.0. The airbag backpacks of generation 3.0 are characterized by a neon-orange trigger handle, the older systems (generation 2.0) with a red handle are not affected. Owners of a corresponding airbag system are requested to check their system using the instructions or to contact Mammut customer service.
Problem: If the system is installed incorrectly, the deployment cable may bend too much. This can impair functionality if it is triggered several times. If the installation error is detected, Mammut asks the persons concerned to carry out the correction immediately in accordance with the instructions. Alternatively, they can also contact Mammut customer service.
