After two weather-related waiting days, the skiers' final was finally held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Revelstoke, Canada. The North Americans showed clear dominance on the "Mac Daddy"Face and displayed breathtaking freeriding, just as you would expect from the best freeriders in the world.

After the storm-induced waiting days, the entire field of riders was able to tackle the competition in the morning in bluebird conditions. Kye Peterson from Whistler (CAN), just 21 years old, was able to maintain his lead from day 1 and skied to victory with his clean run. Oakley White-Allen and Drew Tabke (both USA) followed in second and third place. In the women's event, the reigning Subaru Freeskiing World Tour World Champion, Angel Collinson (USA), showed that she is rightly in the lead and took first place. Chrystal Wright (USA) and Jess McMillan (USA) duly rounded off the US podium.
