Gear of the week | EVOC Snow Gear Roller XL

The qualities of Skibags have long been recognised and described as GOTW. Obviously, I have by no means exhausted the range of applications for this scooter, because I have not yet been on an aeroplane, mule or lorry with it. Nevertheless, I am excited and my stomach tingles when I imagine the possibilities. But for now, I'd better introduce the Snow Gear Roller XL from EVOC.

Moving this giant trolley needs to be learnt, after all it is really long. You have to pull out generously before corners and parking in reverse requires skill and caution. Manoeuvring the Roller XL vertically makes manoeuvring much easier, but you soon realise that hardly any train or bus has a door this high. Furthermore, you can pull the Roller XL with one hand alternately or with two hands - a matter of taste! A back and forth swing with every step is somehow unavoidable and slightly spoils the fun of the ride. At the end of the journey, the Scooter XL can be folded in thirds, reduced in size with the compression straps and stowed away.

The workmanship seems durable to immortal. The zips are of an unprecedented strength. The item is certainly waterproof, but diving is not advisable.

If you are in particular need, rest assured that you can also stow a corpse in it. A life without the Snow Gear Roller XL is therefore no longer imaginable. Until death do us part!
