First impression
The gloves impress with their laurel colour and the wide, elasticated neoprene cuff. The material feels very comfortable both in and outside and as Roeckl has designed its Ecoline as a "consistently sustainable ski collection" , the material is not only comfortable to wear, but also more responsible than other brands in terms of sustainability. Sure: second-hand is always the most sustainable, but every now and then it's time for skiers to buy a new piece of material.
Tester and test conditions
I am about 1.60m tall and wear a size 7 glove with a 19 cm hand circumference. The Camurac GTX gloves are a little smaller at first, but after a while they widen a little around the fingers. As I personally prefer to wear mittens when freeriding (the Camurac GTX is also available as such), the finger gloves have mainly accompanied me on the piste as my faithful companions from November till January.
The test conditions were very changeable in the period from November to January, so the gloves were tested for their robustness in a wide range of weather conditions. They were used for ski touring, on the piste, tobogganing and freeriding.
