From March 24th to 27th, 2026, our cooperation partner Atomic invites you to a ski touring camp in Rauris. In the high alpine setting of the Goldberg Group, advanced and experienced ski tourers can look forward to an intensive program of guided ski tours, workshops and the opportunity to test the latest equipment. The camp is the perfect way to round off the season with new impressions, fresh impulses and plenty of time in the mountains and to expand your own skillset.

More than just collecting vertical meters

The Goldberg Group offers an impressive playground for challenging high-altitude ski tours with its extensive, high-alpine and varied terrain. Instead of quickly collecting summits, this camp is all about sustainable development. The focus is on technique, safety and independent decision-making in alpine terrain, accompanied by state-certified mountain guides and experienced athletes and coaches.

High-altitude ski tours, exchange and a real mountain feeling

The concept is deliberately holistic. The focus is on days spent together in high alpine terrain. If you want to sleep in, you've signed up for the wrong camp, as the touring days start early. This is followed by track work in a team, concentrated ascents, but also rewarding descents. It is precisely this mix that makes ski touring so appealing. Participants benefit not only from the guiding, but also from insights into decision-making processes, risk management and strategic tour planning. In addition to the tours themselves, there is also time for workshops, discussions and exchanges with like-minded people. Anyone who has been ski touring for a long time knows that it is often precisely these encounters and the small impulses on the sidelines that have a long-lasting effect.

The base camp

The starting point is the cozy Alpengasthof Ammererhof at the foot of the Sonnblick in Kolm Saigurn, nestled in an impressive high mountain landscape. You can stay in single or double rooms. From here, the groups set off directly into the terrain. After the tours, it's back to the accommodation with half board: enjoy, feast and relax.

Test the latest equipment

A special highlight is the opportunity to test the latest Atomic equipment for the coming season where it belongs: in real terrain, under real conditions. Combined with practical sessions on tour planning, safety and technology, the result is a camp that goes far beyond a classic guided tour.

Who is the camp for?

The Atomic ski touring camp is clearly aimed at advanced and experienced ski tourers. Those who are already confident in alpine terrain and want to improve their skills will find a professional combination of practice, coaching and community here.

Secure your vacation and register directly

Just a few days ago, PowderGuide Conditions reporter snow_luke was out and about in the Rauris Valley and reported excellent snow conditions. Despite the spring-like temperatures over the next few days, the snow will certainly hold up well until the end of March and will definitely be replenished so that you can set off on unforgettable alpine touring experiences.

All information about registration, costs and the detailed schedule can be found in the PowderGuide event calendar. Take a look, secure your vacation with your employer and register in good time - the number of participants is limited!
