The fall event 2020 - no more total cancellation

Autumn is usually the hot season when it comes to further training and meeting places for freeriders, ski tourers and the snow-loving winter sports community in general. This year, unfortunately, almost everything is canceled due to Corona.

Frank Allgäuer is an enthusiastic ski tourer from Lake Constance as well as a technically experienced programmer and had the idea for a ski touring online congress. After months of preparation and countless online meetings & interviews, the Ski Touring Summit was born.

In several sessions, various topics from fitness, planning and nature conservation to equipment, dangers and technology will be explained by recognized ski touring experts. The summit takes place from 23 - 27 November with a time slot for each session.

Whether you're a beginner or have been ski touring for a long time, there's something for everyone at the Ski Touring Summit!

The snowflurry columnist's avalanche lecture at the Ski Touring Summit

On Thursday, 26 November at 10 am, the lecture "Practical avalanche knowledge - what you need to know about snow" by PG SnowFlurry columnist Lukas Ruetz will be available free of charge.

The Ski Touring Summit handbook

To accompany the Summit, there is a so-called "Playbook". A book in PDF format that contains a clear schedule for each session and excerpts as well as valuable tips & tricks from the lectures.
