Patagonia Worn Wear Repair Tour 2026

The mobile Patagonia workshop tours Europe and stops off in the Alps

Broken zipper, tear in your favorite shell or lost button? The Patagonia Worn Wear Repair Tour is making another stop in the Alps this winter and giving outdoor clothing a second life. Free of charge, uncomplicated and with a clear message: repairing instead of throwing away.

Europe-wide stops

Many may already know the three R mantra and Jack Johnson's cover song to it: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (have a listen). But if we're honest, it's not always easy to act like this.
Buying new is often less complicated and in many cases even cheaper. Patagonia wants to make it easier for us consumers.

The idea is as simple as it is effective: a mobile repair truck tours Europe's winter sports resorts and cities, taking care of damaged outdoor clothing, regardless of the brand (we think that's really cool).

The Patagonia Worn Wear Repair Tour 2026 is stopping off in a total of five countries and at around a dozen stops, from classic Alpine destinations to Scandinavia.

Free service & DIY knowledge

On site, experts will carry out minor repairs directly in the trailer. Zippers are replaced, holes mended, seams reinforced or jackets re-impregnated. The whole thing is free of charge and operates on a first come, first served basis.

At the same time, it's not just about a quick fix. Visitors can also learn how to maintain their equipment themselves and thus extend its service life.

The mission behind it

Behind the tour is the Worn Wear initiative, which Patagonia launched several years ago. Its aim is to reduce consumption, conserve resources and keep outdoor clothing in use for as long as possible. After all, every repaired item of clothing saves CO₂, water and waste and often tells better stories (or does it?).

Meeting point for conscious mountain sports enthusiasts

With stops in well-known winter sports resorts, including Val d'Isère and Verbier, the Repair Tour is a meeting point for all those who not only use their equipment, but also value it. A service that fits in perfectly with mountain sports culture: pragmatic, sustainable and collaborative.
