The Freeride Days Engelberg 2025 are the ultimate event for everyone who loves deep snow! From Thursday, March 13, 2025, to Sunday, March 16, 2025, you can expect first-class workshops with professionals, the latest ski and safety equipment to test and an après-ski program. PowderGuide is on site as an official partner - come along and secure your spot at the legendary freeride camps.

Three days of Explore!, Test! & Chill!

The Freeride Days Engelberg 2025 are just around the corner! It's all about freeriding, testing, learning and celebrating. And the best thing is: We as PowderGuide will be there as a partner! Together with the best freeride pros and mountain guides, three unforgettable days full of adventure, action and community await you.

The aim is to find good snow and adventure. This involves using lifts such as ski lifts, cable cars, boats, buses and trains. To get to the best spots and untouched slopes, skins are used if necessary, and ascents are made by foot. As short (or sometimes long) as necessary...

The focus is not on the summits, but on the descents.

The Brand Village at the Trübsee station is the hotspot for anyone who wants to take their equipment to the next level.

Explore! - Workshops on the mountain

Expand your skills and discover new facets of freeriding! At the Explore! workshops, top-trained mountain guides and freeride pros will teach you everything you need to be safe and stylish in the backcountry. Explore the best runs around Engelberg with experienced guides and master the Big 5 freeride descents. In the technical workshops, you can improve your riding technique or learn how to master steep couloirs with confidence, while in the safety training you learn from professionals how to move safely in the terrain and minimize avalanche risks. And for all those who want to aim high, there's something very special: the Ski & Fly Workshop opens the doors to ski flying adventures!

The Brand Village at the Trübsee station is the hotspot for anyone who wants to take their equipment to the next level. Here you can test the latest ski & snowboard models and the latest safety equipment on Saturdays and Sundays. This will give you the opportunity to try out the latest skis, snowboards and equipment directly in the powder at the Freeride Tests.

PowderGuide will have its own stand in the Brand Village! This will be the first opportunity to meet the PowderGuide team live and in color! There will also be some PowderGuide goodies for sale at discounted prices and we will be available for discussion, questions and requests about the PowderGuide project! Come along and let us know what else you'd like to see on the web!

How to get there

Engelberg is easy to reach - whether by car or public transport. And for those who are staying for several days, there are numerous accommodation options:

Ski Lodge: The place to be. Where ski pros and mountain guides call it a day
Terrace: Grandiose view over Engelberg. Bed & Ski in the package
Crystal: Family hotel in the heart of EngelbergHotel
Engelberg: Historic hotel, cool hosts, in the middle of the village street
GRAND Hostel&Bar: Great value for the money.
Hotel Bellevue - Trot straight to bed after the yuki.
Youth Hostel Engelberg - Favourable and easy.

There are no partnerships with the hotels. PowderGuide passes on the recommendations of the organizer. Accommodation is not included in the Freeride Days tickets.

The invitation to the pre-season camp fluttered into our inbox at the beginning of November in late summer temperatures and we immediately began to look forward to the upcoming winter. This anticipation increased even more when the detailed program arrived a week before the camp - coupled with the certainty that the conditions around Engelberg would be promising. The 3238 metre high Titlis is one of the mightiest mountains in Central Switzerland and gives its name to the Engelberg ski area. The mountain railways open up an extensive and challenging freeride terrain and the location on the northern slope of the Alps guarantees a large amount of precipitation during snow storms.
