The Scandinavians lead the way once again. Trygg Lind and friends are a feast for the eyes and ears, and Antti Autti finds the best spots and lines, and simply tells the story so well. Carlikolumna also proves with her ConditionsReport that dream conditions are currently prevailing. So, at least for now, don't head south, head north!

Last week's anticipation was followed by joy about the winter that has now begun both north and south of the main Alpine ridge, and about a very remarkable film. In the Dolomites, Marco Bassot puts the powder into moving images, and last year a Japanese ski and snowboard expedition travelled to the Karakoram and has just released the film. Ski film of the year? See for yourself! And the well-known Scandinavians Nikolai, Antti, Jacob and Krister also deliver!

To be honest, we only managed the VdW every fortnight this season. But not true, we had some nice films! And now, at what feels like the end of the season, we still have something to offer. Hedvig Vessel's great film, a bit of Antti and a king line in the Pyrenees! The VdW wish you a good end to the high-speed season and hereby close the shop.

In keeping with the winter comeback, there's also a VdW comeback. We present Moonlines!, yesterday's snow with Guido Perrini, a climate debate, the FWT revue in Kicking Horse and finally Sam Anthamatten's backpack. We wish you good entertainment - winter is back!

Their names are Nikolai, Jacob, Antti and also Trygg and Hedvig and they produce ski VLOGs. You can't get past them. And rightly so, because they have the best English "Lordy-Dordy!", the best safety management (Extended Column Test) and run everything on green electricity. They wouldn't need to be skiing, but even that they usually do pretty well. But of course, there are a few Alpine one-offs that stand up to their dominance.

The well-known YouTube greats - Wester, Autti, Schirmer, Wiedemann... - are slowly taking over the main part of the VdW again, but a few independent films still appear, of course. We round off the menu with a culinary and cultural trip to the mountaineering village of Villergraten and the Low Pressure podcast.

For perhaps the last VdW episode of the season, we present new and old ski heroes: Valentin Rainer and Max Hitzig have opted for riding and Reine Barkered, one of the most successful contest freeriders ever, says goodbye to the competition stage. Antti, Nikolai, Krister, Gerhard and Fabio are also taking part again. We hope this will motivate you to try your luck again!

In the warm and gray December weather, we present the freeride world with a relatively colorful variety: 1 film of glossy Alaska Spines with a star cast, 1 portrait of a young up-and-coming freerider, 1 VLOG in bloom and 1 VLOG in full bloom, and finally 2 easy-going podcasts with two well-known action heroes and 1 Tech Talk. We wish you good entertainment!

Finally, the start of the season for the ski media of the week! Many heroes, vloggers and collectives have already been busy publishing and spreading just as much anticipation as the first PowderAlert. A few podcasts and the Tyrolean freeski scene are also vying for your attention. Curtain up, clear the ring!

Winter is making a comeback and obviously it's not an April pain! Hopefully you'll all be enjoying your well-deserved powder soon, so here's the virtual nightcap for afterwards. Antti Autti brings us the finest arctic lines and there's also the Verbier Extreme to marvel at! The program is rounded off with a podcast and a suitable piece of music. Nauttikaa!
