Bergverlag Rother

First published in 2014, the Rother ski touring guide "Obersteiermark" from the mountain publishing house of the same name presents 50 tours in Styria - from the Salzkammergut to the Hochschwab region. In addition to popular tours, the book also includes some lesser-known routes. The different landscapes offer a wide variety of options for ski tours, from leisurely tours to challenging day trips.

After a number of interesting and sometimes innovative books on the subject of avalanches have been published in recent winters - such as the book by Nairz/Mair on hazard patterns - a new avalanche book has now also been published by the renowned mountain publisher Rother: "Lawinen: Verstehen - Vermeiden - Praxistipps". The author is long-time ski tourer, mountain rescuer and physicist Eike Roth.

A German version of the weather book by French meteorologists Jean-Jacques Thillet and Dominique Schueller has been published in the "Wissen & Praxis" series by Rother Verlag.
