Candide Thovex

I am very happy about the breath of fresh air that Hannes Hemper brings to the videos of the week. As always, you’ll get the latest clips from the heroes of my generation and the best picks from my YouTube subscriptions. Today, Xavier de le Rue makes a comeback with a new VLOG, Sam Anthamatten is honoured, Candide Thovex shines once again in a 47-second video and Gerhard Wiedemann tells us about his last ski tour in a relaxed manner. I never get enough of these guys!

In keeping with the winter comeback, there's also a VdW comeback. We present Moonlines!, yesterday's snow with Guido Perrini, a climate debate, the FWT revue in Kicking Horse and finally Sam Anthamatten's backpack. We wish you good entertainment - winter is back!

Come one, come all, there's going to be plenty of presents! We have great entertainment from the most prominent protagonists and TGR to offer. Find your present!

Mon cheri, mon amour! C'est tres jolie, c'est trop bon! Jeux parlez francais comme un vache espanyole! Je suis desole, jeux ne pas compris! C'est vrai, we dedicate today to our favorite neighboring country, the one with the high mountains and the beautiful but incomprehensible language! A bientot!

Start of the season! A warm welcome! Obviously: all the well-known characters and collectives are already busy publishing. Lots of recent footage of last winter's snow is ready and we almost feel late! But don't worry, we won't be tactically holding back here. No, we're burning off the Hollywood fireworks so that we can devote ourselves to fine alternative works in the future! With this in mind, let's celebrate the start of the season! Because...

Today we're bringing you the best of the best. Our protagonists have used their talent, stamina and style to become stars of the scene and won't let up! So: sit back and enjoy!

Rising like a phoenix from the powder: your weekly delivery of ski porn and procrastination material - the Videos of the Week! After several years of hibernation, you will now be informed about the latest happenings in our powder world captured on film. Let me tell you, there's really something going on out there. Nevertheless, to mark the start of the season and after a long absence, the fresh films are complemented by a modern classic and a personal contribution. Let's go!

Once again this season, we will be providing you with the best web videos of the week on PowderGuide every week.

The FWQ series also started this season in La Clusaz (France). The 2* events, which took place during the week, gave riders with few or even no ranking points the chance to qualify for the main event at the weekend. The 4* contest attracted many European freeriders, who competed for the good prize money and the many FWT points. Fabian Lentsch and Jochen Mesle were on site for PowderGuide and report on their impressions.
