Word of the mysticism of the Norwegian coast and the Lofoten Islands has already spread among Ullr's disciples from Central Europe. Two places of longing come together at the foot of the lynx - the sea and snow-covered mountains. In spring, you can stand on the summit about 200 km north of the Arctic Circle late in the evening and then ski down to the sea at sunset. With long days and guaranteed snow, the Easter period is ideal for a trip to the steep island kingdom. But low budget? In the unaffordable Switzerland of the north? The Lofoten Islands are an elongated group of islands off the coast of Norway. They lie around 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, between 67 and 68 degrees latitude. Despite the high latitude, the Gulf Stream ensures a relatively mild climate, characterized by strong storms from the southwest. In winter, the cod migrate south from the Barents Sea to spawn here. The islands were settled 6000 years ago and people have lived from fishing since time immemorial.

When winter slowly but inevitably comes to an end in the Alps, perhaps the best season for skiing adventures begins in northern Scandinavia. We have eight days to find the most beautiful slopes on the Lofoten Islands, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, with runs down to the seashore.
