Gear of the week | The Skiboot Dryer
01/05/2025 • Pascal SchindlerWho cannot relate? You wake up in the morning full of anticipation for a day of skiing, put on your ski boots and... urgh! Cold, clammy boots, accompanied by a smell that rivals ripe mountain cheese. After a long day on the board or boards, your boots are damp from sweat or snow. The perfect breeding ground for odour! No matter whether it's a ski boot, snowboard boot, hiking boot or whatever boot, if the boot is wet on the day of use, it will be unpleasant. I don't know whether this is actually the case, but my own experience shows that a dry boot in the morning is much more comfortable and sometimes also warmer.
