The skin is quick and easy to put on and take off. The only small disadvantage is the fact that subsequent length adjustment of the skin is only possible in the area of the tensioner at the tail, as excess skin is cut off and the position of the bracket can only be changed again with new screws. In addition to instructions for cutting to size, the scope of delivery includes a cutting knife, a high-quality cutting net and a storage bag.

Stickiness: ***** The skin is visually reminiscent of a piece of carpeting, and it behaves similarly when climbing (at least that's how I imagine a carpeted floor). Compared to mohair or mixed skins, the gliding properties are not exhilarating, but you practically never slip back.
The adhesive holds and holds, even at the lowest temperatures (-20°C) the skin holds perfectly even after the third skinning on the same day. For emergencies, the middle part of all Black Diamond skins is also non-adhesive, you can peel off a foil here and thus make new glue accessible!
The flexible tail tensioner also holds reliably, there are occasionally minor problems with twintips with a round tail.
The tendency to swell and water absorption are very limited, the skin also dries extremely quickly.
