Gear Review | Mammut Aenergy Pro SO pants
01/14/2021 • Steffen Kruse

12/27/2020 • Steffen Kruse
What actually makes a good probe? Or: why is the Mammut Carbon Probe 280 speed lock particularly recommended, and what do we perhaps not find so good? -

Gear of the Week | Etnies Shoes
12/20/2020 • Steffen Kruse
Etnies, a veteran skate shoe company, not only soles the feet of skate greats such as Ryan Scheckler and Chris Joslin, but also those of Berlin pro "Willow". With the new winter line and the Jefferson MTW, everyone's feet are pampered and winterized. -

Gear of the week | Ski pole furniture and the K2 Lockjaw Carbon Plus
03/29/2020 • Steffen Kruse
I was delighted when I received a replacement for my already very old ski poles from our partner K2. But I couldn't be satisfied with that! My long-serving poles needed to find a new home. -

TouringTip | Unghürhörner
02/28/2020 • Steffen Kruse
The good thing about this tour is that it can be adapted to the respective conditions, preferences and ability with a little creativity. Even the start presents you with the first decision. Do I start with a gondola ride up the Pischa and then walk up the Pischahorn? Or do I walk over the Jöriflüelafurgga? Due to the complexity of the tour, we opted for the option via Jöriflüelafurgga and an early start. -

ISPO 2020 | PartnerNews Part I
02/11/2020 • Steffen Kruse
Our partners have worked hard again this year to launch new products, innovations and real hits for the 2020/2021 season. They have been working on designs, colors, functions and materials. One very clear trend is to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible. We find this very pleasing and hope that it is not just a short-term trend, but will remain firmly anchored in the production chain in the future. -

Gear Review | Scott Scrapper 115
02/23/2019 • Steffen KruseTwo seasons ago, Scott launched the Scrapper 115, the little brother of the Scrapper 124, which was a huge success: The ski is light, robust, playful and stable at the same time. I put this season's ski to the test, or rather under my feet. -

SLF workshop on avalanche rescue - When was your last time?
01/24/2019 • Steffen KruseAnyone who spends any time in the snowy mountains and therefore in potentially dangerous terrain should regularly deal with the topic of rescue and recovery. I myself pack my backpack before the start of winter, check the equipment for wear/function and fit the avalanche transceiver with new batteries (lithium ions). Then I meet up with friends to practise, exchange ideas and learn new things.
