Fall is here, and so are the 20/21 ski movie trailers!

A new winter season is in the starting blocks and with it a new batch of ski films and their trailers. Here's an overview for everyone who wants to get into the winter mood! There are no clear trends for us this time. In general, there are slightly fewer trailers than in previous years, as the last season ended abruptly and many smaller film projects were probably not completed as planned. There is standard material from the major production companies.

The big ones

Tanner Hall Forever - Frozen Ambrosia/1091 Pictures

Story: Tanner Hall tells what really happened

Quote: "Every artist needs to struggle to create something great"

First impression: Dramatic navel-gazing. We hope Tanner still has fun skiing sometimes.

HUCK YEAH! - MSP

Story: Unrecognizable.

Quote: "I just wanna ski, man"

First impression: Our oracle finds this trailer "soulless". The great The Blondes get a feature. New this year: Ariana Tricomi.

The not-so-great ones

Nothing - Level 1

Story: Parker White and friends go skiing.

Best quote in the trailer: "Whooooo."

First impression: Level 1 are back and feature Parker White and various supporting actors in their new work. Cheerful trailer with lots of powder.

Follow the Forecast - Blank Collective

Story: If the powder is deep, the story doesn't have to be.

Quote: "You stick a microphone in my face, I have a really bad french accent."

First impression: BC Pillowlines and many of the Salomon TV regulars: Looks like fun.

Bermuda - Strictly

Story: Young people jump over various obstacles on skis

Quote: "Yeaaaahhh whooooohhooo they got motorcycles"

First impression: Everything is chilled out until one of them hits the asphalt and howls. Highlight: Ski dancing on a frozen lake

SKIVAS - Coline Ballet-Baz

Story: Not recognizable.

Citation: No text, just a bit of cheerful screeching.

First impression: A ladies-only film with a very short teaser that promises both urban and not-so-urban action. Starring Taylor Lundquist, Rosina Friedel (known from el makrell), Marion Hearty, among others.

FLUID - el makrell

Story: The water cycle (?)

Quote: "It's everywhere. Water."

First impression: This year, the el makrell crew is probably presenting something philosophical on the subject of water. The very short teaser reveals little else.

Made in Voyage - Picture

Story: #vanlife

Quotation: "Two travelers in a bus from 1962"

First impression: The bus is great for standing stylishly on the road while someone jumps over roadgaps. The windshield wipers have to be operated manually and the ventilation seems to work poorly.

The Revelstoke Diaries - Holmlands

Story: Revelstoke is great.

Quote: "We are all happy people."

First impression: Short portraits of various personalities who live in Revelstoke, BC, and apparently want to promote their place. with Izzy Lynch, Greg Hill, among others.

Delay Your Arrival - Nordica

Story: Road trips with car advertising partnership in Corona times.

Citation: -

First impression: A bit of park, a bit of powder, a bit of surfing, a bit of car advertising.

Dollar Short - Sweet Protection

Story: Powder and bank robbery?

Quote: "Hooooly Shit!"

First impression: The trailer doesn't allow any definitive conclusions to be drawn, but there may be a real feature film plot here and bank robbers fleeing on skis, or something like that.
