The trailer for "The Empire of Winds" whets the appetite for long road trips, rental cars stuck in the mud, wind in your hair and all the other fun you can have in Patagonia. Skiing is featured in the trailer primarily in the area around El Chalten and spectacular drone shots of beautifully shaped classics such as Cerro Vespignani and of course the Fitz Roy massif promise a rewarding visual journey to the south. The downday lifestyle (downdays are more common in Patagonia than "updays" due to the weather) is also honored with obligatory shots of fences swaying aesthetically in the wind, steaming tea from the jetboil and ski carrying in the forest. The trailer hints that the protagonists visit a few other Patagonia locals in addition to Lucas Swieykowski from Bariloche, who also have their say in the film. We are excited!
