Last winter, Atomic launched two ski models on the market, the Maverick and the women's model Maven, which - it's fair to say - hit the spot. The Short-term Gear Review of the Maverick 115 CTI on PowderGuide.com also joins the many good feedbacks about the flagship product of Atomic's new freeride series. An extended test will soon be available in our Gear Review section and we can already announce that the Maven 103 has just reached the PowderGuides Review camp and will hopefully soon be put through its paces by our demanding reviewers!
The Maverick 105 is also currently being prepared for its first turns and we are curious to see whether it can hold a candle to its big brother, which will be a very challenging endeavour! At least in our opinion...
The characteristics of the Atomic Maverick 115 CTI can also be summarised in the words of (co-)developer Craig Murray: "It’s a strong ski with purpose and intent. It's going to facilitate the progression of freeride skiing by bringing a lot of technical and traditional Atomic performance to a ski that will allow new types of skiing to be seen". Read on to find out if the ski really does enable your new skiing style and if you end up winning the pair!
