The Prime Tour of the Freeride Film Festival (FFF) celebrated its end on Thursday with a sold-out auditorium (750 people) at the Gartenbaukino in Vienna. But the FFF has only just picked up speed. Included in the line-up are six fascinating, exciting and thematically diverse freeride films, which are categorized and rounded off by the on-screen moderation of Harry Putz and Lena Öller. The festival is also bringing its legendary raffle to some cinemas, with great prizes to be won.

Insulation jackets are one of those things. From the 80s to the 2000s, things were relatively clear and straightforward. Fleece jackets were medium-warm insulation jackets that you wore either under a hardshell or on their own. Warmer insulation was then often the Michelin Man model, optionally with down or synthetic filling. A lot has changed since then.

Penguin is an independent Swiss company that emphasises functionality without a lot of frills. In its merino items, it uses Nuyarn, an innovative yarn technology whose fibres give the yarn more volume and greater elasticity. The core of Nuyarn is nylon, which is particularly tear-resistant and elastic. The merino wool wraps around the nylon core.
