12/27/2021 • Anselm Köhler
Every fall has come to an end. Every winter, the first snow has enchanted the landscape. Every year, the bikes and climbing gear can be swapped for the skis from the summer camps at some point. This year was the same, only the snow climbing game extended the fall by 6 weeks and was on the road. -

Gear Review | Scott Superguide Freetour
02/26/2021 • Johannes Wolf
Everything is different this season - especially if you don't currently have the pleasure of open cable cars due to where you live. In order to still be able to test equipment extensively, the motto this season really is: "Earn your turn". Luckily, Ullr took pity on us after the late start to winter and gifted us with heavy snowfall from the end of December. Perfect for testing the Scott Superguide Freetour, which Scott calls the "Holy Grail". -

ISPO & Gear News Ski 2021
02/04/2021 • Tobias Huber
As expected, there was little news presented at this year's online ISPO and at individual product presentations by manufacturers. Many retailers still have stock from 2020, which is why some model ranges are carry-overs for the coming season. This mainly affects the downhill-oriented models. -

Snow height tip game 2020/2021
12/03/2020 • Anselm Köhler
At some point, the prolonged late fall will turn into an early winter with short days and, this year, a light layer at higher altitudes. At some point, the bikes and climbing gear can be swapped for the skis from the summer camps. And then, it's time for the PowdeAalarm and the snow height game! For the fifth time in a row! And there are some great prizes again, more on that below. -

Gear of the Week | Scott Genius 30 LT
04/12/2020 • Lukas Zögernitz
The Genius patiently endured my early days on single trails and in bike parks. My cluelessness and overconfidence couldn't bring it down, nor could air travel in cardboard boxes and trips in the back of campers. The mixture of very good downhill and respectable uphill performance - especially thanks to the lockable suspension - turned out to be the ideal mix for my bike preferences and, even after 8 years, gives me no reason to long for a new bike. -

Gear Review | Scott Vertic GTX 3L Stretch Jacket & Pants
03/23/2020 • Johannes Wolf
In recent years, many freeride suits have become thinner and lighter. Three-layer jackets and trousers are now state of the art. The Vertic series from Scott shines here with its very robust material and stylish look. -

Gear of the Week | Scott Airflex Light protector vest
02/02/2020 • Lorenzo RiegFirst of all, I have to admit that I hardly ever wear a back protector anymore. In the past (a really long time ago), it was part of my standard equipment and I was practically never out and about without my protector - back then it was a very heavy hard-shell version.
