Skiers Cup 2016 | Report
02/01/2016 • PowderGuideImmediately after the Freeride Junior World Championships, the Skiers Cup Big Mountain Competition was held on the same face. So it was certainly interesting for the young freeriders to compete indirectly with the invited freeski pros from Europe and America. Compared to some of the juniors, their performances were not all that different, understandably somewhat adapted to the conditions. Nevertheless, most of them made the best of the conditions - a show worth seeing. It was clear to see, especially in the first run, that the riders had been riding in good conditions in North America over the past few weeks and that almost none of them were tempted to perform bigger tricks or riskier lines in the spring conditions that currently prevail almost everywhere in Europe. At the end of the first day, it was Collomb-Patton's Team Europe that took the lead with 9:7 points, leaving Sage Cattabriga-Alosa's Americans behind. -

No Turning Back - Warren Miller
10/08/2014 • Johannes WolfOn November sixth, it's that time again: the 65th Warren Miller film is - this time - about the quintessence of skiing. This film is also a tribute to 65 years of our own mountain culture. It doesn't matter whether you're young or old. Because collectively, everyone is searching for the basic idea behind their sport. -

Gear reviews | K2 Annex 118 - Seth Morrison Pro Model
02/23/2014 • German Wehinger
Is the K2 Annex 118 Pro Model: a "one ski fits all?". For me, the ski is a successful all-round talent: with a balanced balance of torsional stiffness and forgiving character. -

Swatch Skiers Cup - Team Americas wins
01/08/2014 • Tobias HuberTeam Americas was declared the winner of the 2014 Swatch Skiers Cup. JP Auclair's crew was leading 9:7 after the backcountry slopestyle. Light the Wick | TGR
12/04/2010 • Hanna FinkelWarning – all of the situations depicted in this film are potentially dangerous! After taking note of this warning at the beginning of the film, Light the Wick kicks off with a few violent ski scenes showing perverse steep wall descents and nasty falls, soberly commented on by the protagonists. No bullshit, there's something to this warning... -

Steep - Steep at the limit | Polyband Medien GmbH
11/30/2009 • Aaron VogelThis movie is not a freeride movie, but a documentary about freeriding and its development. Extreme skiing is like the Olympic Games: There is an old time; "Der weisse Rausch" by Arnold Fank proves this wonderfully.
