Weihnachten

It's finally that time again! It's been snowing all night, the base is already good anyway, the branches of the trees are laden to bursting point...

Winter is already in full swing and Ullr has already given us plenty of presents this December. Of course, we don't want to be left out just in time for Christmas!

Who doesn't know the situation...? Winter is here, but the snow isn't. In the following winter story, read about a people who are way ahead of their time, about the revival of Graski and other snow-reducing things.

Although there is still not much to see of winter 16/17 (at least in the northern Alps), 2016 is already fast approaching its end. First of all, however, we still have Christmas to celebrate and probably some presents to collect, but also to hand out! Once again this year, we asked the members of the PowderGuide editorial team about their Christmas wishes and present the answers here - maybe someone still needs some inspiration.

Although the current weather, like the current snow conditions, hardly suggests it: in just a few weeks it will be that time again. Christmas is just around the corner again and it's probably not only large parts of the PowderGuide editorial team that are looking for Christmas presents. Reason enough for us to offer our readers a little inspiration!

Over the past few days, the weather in the Alpine region has been dominated by a strong westerly current produced by a low over northern Europe and a high in the south. The high in the south was strong enough to steer most of the disturbances north of the Alps. It was warm and sunny in Austria and Bavaria, while it poured down in northern Germany, which is at least a little less summery.

Oh horror! Christmas is less than a month away. Normally a clear warning shot that you should slowly but surely get to grips with the present madness. Wishing for presents, thinking them up, finding them, buying them, wrapping them and finally giving them. It's the same old song that has surely stumped everyone at some point. What, where, how? But what could be easier than peeking over the shoulders of like-minded people and copying from their wish lists? So here are the PG crew's Christmas wishes.
