PowderGuide • 11/22/2017The Working Group of Austrian Avalanche Warning Services has published its seasonal report for winter 2016/17. As always, the report contains not only statistical evaluations of the past avalanche winter, but also many detailed and impressively illustrated reports on specific accidental avalanches. In addition to the LWDs of the Austrian federal states, the SLF, the LWD Bavaria and the LWD South Tyrol are also represented with guest contributions. -

PowderGuide • 11/20/2017With the Patrol series, Evoc has backpacks in its program that cover practically the entire touring range in sizes 32, 40 and 55l. While the "small" 30l Patrol is ideal for extended day tours, the medium 40l model is not only suitable for very material-intensive activities, but also for multi-day tours with overnight stays in winter shelters, for example. The Patrol 55l is recommended for camping tours or very long trips with lots of gear. -

The organizers Astrid, Linda and Mel will present impressions from the past winter with their 15 ski students from the home for unaccompanied minor refugees (umF) in Scharnitz. There will also be a photo exhibition on the project. The film will be followed by an oriental buffet.
