Gear Review | Dynafit Hoji Free
02/25/2020 • Tobias Huber
After we were able to try out the Hoji Pro for you last season, Dynafit provided us with the new Hoji Free for testing this year. The "Free" can also refer to the freedom in the choice of bindings, because unlike the "Pro" model, the boot fits into all standard touring and hybrid bindings thanks to its normal beak at the front. -

11/18/2018 • Lea HartlFritz Barthel, father of the pin binding, and Eric Hjorleifson, freeride legend and material freak, enjoy working together on ski boots and bindings and have brought a joint project to series maturity with the Hoji Boot. Hoji's involvement gives hope for uncompromising big mountain performance, while Barthel's focus was on handling and ascent. Dynafit promises an egg-laying, revolutionary wool-milk sow. -

Gear reviews | Dynafit Beast 108 skis
11/08/2018 • Alex Schober"Is it time to stop seeing Dynafit as a purely ascent-oriented (ski) manufacturer?" The product developers probably asked themselves this very question a few years ago and expanded the range to include some downhill-oriented ski models. The Dynafit range is now divided into four areas: Race, Speed, Tour and Free. The Beast 108 is the widest and most downhill-oriented ski in the Free segment. -

ISPO Report 2018 | Ski touring boots & bindings
01/30/2018 • PowderGuide
As in previous years, there are many technical innovations in ski touring boots. More and more manufacturers are coming onto the market with ever lighter models that are still very suitable for downhill skiing. One of the most interesting new models, the Hoji Pro Tour from Dynafit, won an ISPO Award but could only be admired in reality to a limited extent due to the lack of a Dynafit stand. -

Splitboarding with hardboots?! - An experience report
04/13/2017 • Anselm Köhler
Anyone who thinks they can simply go splitboarding with hard-shell boots is mistaken. A functioning AT setup, as it is called in modern German, still requires a lot of trial and error as well as a certain amount of motivation to tinker in order to find the individually functional settings. -

Ski touring bindings - competition with Fritschi
03/19/2017 • PowderGuideSki touring has changed dramatically in recent years. Whereas 10 years ago, the "supreme discipline" of winter sports was still largely in the hands of mountain dwellers, took place in spring and was mainly for early risers, today there are so many facets that we can't even list them all. From freeriders who often only make short ascents with skins to get to certain lines, to "classic" ski tourers who are all about experiencing nature and summits, to the ever-increasing number of "speed" tourers who focus on fitness. In recent years, this development has led to a veritable diversity of materials, which has not even stopped at bindings.
