Gear of the Week | Scott Genius 30 LT
Lukas Zögernitz • 04/12/2020The Genius patiently endured my early days on single trails and in bike parks. My cluelessness and overconfidence couldn't bring it down, nor could air travel in cardboard boxes and trips in the back of campers. The mixture of very good downhill and respectable uphill performance - especially thanks to the lockable suspension - turned out to be the ideal mix for my bike preferences and, even after 8 years, gives me no reason to long for a new bike. -

Gear of the Week | Protectors Bodies
Lukas Zögernitz • 04/05/2020Back protectors that slide upwards are not only annoying, they also no longer provide ideal protection. A protector body - a protector vest with integrated shorts - turned out to be the perfect solution to this problem for me. That's why the Protektor Body has been my faithful protector in the snow for many years and is our Gear of the Week. -

Winter Wonderland Lapland
Lukas Zögernitz • 12/03/2018In recent years, there has been a growing feeling that winters with a late start and little precipitation are becoming more and more normal. Landscapes covered in deep snow have increasingly become fond memories rather than an annual treat. So people are longingly looking for destinations with guaranteed snow, even away from the artificial snow slopes. With a wintry climate from October to April with temperatures as low as -30°C and plenty of snowfall, Finnish Lapland is the place to be.
