The two-year project by two film students has attracted a lot of media attention. And rightly so. All.I.Can. is a truly outstanding freeride film. It appeals to both action-hungry and artistically inclined contemporaries and is refreshingly different to anything seen before in the ski sector.

We got too much snow? – is how this year's MSP strip begins. This also makes it clear what it is all about. Lots of deep and particularly deep fresh snow and lots of skiing action. A movie in classic MSP style.

The Free Radicals have little to do with healthy eating. Since 1988 (!) they have been supplying freeriders with their own nice ski films. The special thing about it: large parts are filmed in the Alps.

Overweight and impractical. These are two of the attributes you often hear in connection with the Marker Duke. And yet it is our product of the week. Why? Because it rides like a fully-fledged alpine binding on the descent and you can ascend with it appropriately. If you've got a lot of power in your legs, if you can torture yourself or if a proper descent is worth every effort, you'll go for the Duke.

Teton Gravity Research's latest freeride film offers the usual. Good freeride action, appealing background music, solid cinematic design and realization. Unfortunately, that's about it. Nothing new from the West, so to speak.

The freeski film by PVS features numerous French freeski stars who have been showcasing their skills in numerous film parts for many years. The film offers a mix of freeride and park hopping, with 9-year-old Kelly Sildaru shining with an impressive freestyle part that puts many others in the shade.

Freestyle has always been the métier of the "poor boys" from overseas. The Grand Bizarre" also fits in seamlessly with this basic approach. Freestyle from front to back.

A few years ago, the German binding manufacturer Marker introduced a new ski binding category with the Marker Duke. A fully-fledged alpine binding with real ascent properties met the needs of the times. It fulfilled the desire of many freeriders to be able to move up slopes under their own steam.

Xavier de le Rue has not only won the most important freeride events several times, but is also currently regarded as the best big mountain snowboarder. His film project "This is my winter", released today, once again sets new standards – and is also available online for free in HD!
