PartnerNews | Atomic Ski & Hike Camp 2024 Fieberbrunn

>>> Unfortunately cancelled due to weather and snow conditions! <<<

by PowderGuide 01/25/2024
A freeride camp where you have the opportunity to learn from the pros, refresh your knowledge of avalanche safety and get valuable first-hand tips on ski care and repair.

The Ski & Hike Camp Fieberbrunn

The Atomic Ski & Hike Camp should have taken place from 14 to 16 February 2024, sending its participants on explorations around Fieberbrunn, more precisely the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn with the trio of mountain guides from the Rock'n Roll mountain & ski school. Even though the camp has now been postponed until next year due to weather and snow conditions, we don't want to withhold a little insight from you:

During the day, the Rock'n Roll guides will take you into the backcountry in search of fresh powder. Meanwhile, there are tips on tour planning and a refresher course on avalanche knowledge. The camp is divided into small groups with the same interests, so there is something for everyone and everyone's needs are catered for. In any case, you should not be afraid to shoulder your skis (or your rucksack) and have an affinity for ski adventures - this will not be a feel-good camp.

The all-round programme of the camp includes freeride tours as well as workshops with an expert from Atomic product development on the subject of ski construction, repair and care.

If you like, you will also have the opportunity to test the latest Atomic skis for the duration of the camp. Here we have already summarised for you what innovations there are in next year's models. We can only recommend taking advantage of the test offer! At the moment, some models are being put through their paces by the PG test team and short tests will be published soon.

In the evening, you can choose between socialising at the hotel bar or relaxing body and soul in the hotel's spa area. If you prefer, you can also join the film evening with freeride pro Matthias "Hauni" Haunholder after dinner.

Costs and accommodation

The ATOMIC SKI & HIKE CAMP takes place in picturesque Fieberbrunn/PillerseeTal, Austria. Overnight accommodation is provided at the TUI BLUE Hotel in Fieberbrunn.

(After your registration you will be contacted directly by the accommodation regarding your reservation and camp booking. The booking is only binding after confirmation from the hotel. Please note that only double rooms are possible. Payment is made directly on site).

The only exclusions are catering in the huts (e.g. lunch), drinks in the hotel and underground parking spaces. The journey is organised individually.

If you have already gained experience in freeriding, have no problem bootpacking, are confident on your boards or board and long powder runs are your thing, this is just the right camp for you!
We will let you know when the dates for 2025 have been finalised, until then you can enjoy the anticipation or use this year's winter to get fit.
PowderGuide wishes you lots of fun :)
