Bergstolz's big ski test has been taking place every winter for years now - at the end of March 2025, we found the best freeride conditions in Hochfügen, Zillertal. At the end of the season, Ms. Holle meant good once again. Dozens of skiers tested freeride skis from over 25 brands in four different categories. We took a closer look at a few models from the large selection and summarized our impressions in this article.

Old Man Winter is awakening - and October marks the start of the ski and snowboard film premiere season. Today we have an overview of what you can expect in the coming weeks: Which releases are coming up, which trailers are already out, and for some projects we only know the name so far. A few releases for new ski models are already online, as well as a fresh gear guide. We also take a quick look back at the season in the southern hemisphere: what happened in New Zealand and South America? It's good to be back - here's to a great start to the winter! Enrico Mosetti is to me a local legend among the freeskiers of the Italian Julian Alps. Me, a bavarian Triestino, came to hear of him on a drive back home from a ski tour. My friends were talking about "Mose" doing this or that cool line, and then I found out about him through Instagram. Soon though, on another day we arrived at Sella Nevea at the parking for the western side of the valley, the one without ski lifts, and there I saw him for the first time, and he was hard to mistake with his characteristic extravagant style. He was first to start the skinning and likely first to descend as well. I here in this interview try to find out more about him and to introduce this PowderPeople to you!

Christmas and New Year are over - a wonderful time with family and friends is behind us, and there's still time for a few ski films in between. I hope most of you have had a good start into 2025 - on skis or boards - and feel like getting some inspiration for the coming week.

With the Draco, Black Crows is bringing out an unusual ski. Although it is part of the "Freebird" touring series, it is still a very solid ski with a twin tip that is more suited to big mountain lines and those odd tricks.
