EVOC

With the SUMMIT 20, Evoc is launching a compact, no-frills and very lightweight backpack this season, which we tested for you while ski touring and freeriding.

The final preparations have started and the anticipation is growing steadily. In the last article, I told you how I came up with the idea of going to Japan and what you need to consider when planning a winter season in Japan. Now it's time to get down to business and I find myself surrounded by a pile of winter sports gear and other equipment and am asking myself: WHAT DO I NEED?

According to EVOC, the LINE PRO 30 is THE "touring backpack with freeride qualities" and combines touring with the needs of freeriding without compromising on comfort and safety. In the test, the backpack lived up to the promises made by its creators, with the high level of carrying comfort standing out in particular.

PG partner Evoc not only produces the well-known backpacks, but also a wealth of practical luggage in which you can transport your 7 (or 70) things around. From bike and ski bags to photo bags and toiletry bags, everything is included. Today we are focussing on the Evoc Gear Backpack.

When I cross the Alps twice by public transport at Christmas time, transporting one or two pairs of skis, I can only do it so comfortably because I have a ski bag with wheels. A task that looks like Sisyphus suddenly becomes child's play.

The Patrol series from our long-standing partner Evoc probably needs no further introduction on PowderGuide. In a nutshell, these are practical and well thought-out toploader touring backpacks with a large opening for side access, which have been available in different versions and sizes for years.

From time to time you need a new toiletry bag, especially if you travel a lot. I've always had a "classic" toiletry bag on wheels for the last fifteen years and have now entered new territory with the Evoc Bag. I liked my old rolling bag, but unfortunately it is now falling apart. Let's see what the Evoc Wash Bag can do!

The backpack specialists from Bavaria have extended their tried-and-tested freeride backpacks with integrated back protector from the Line series with the Removeable Airbag System from Mammut, creating a complete freeride backpack. I tested how this multifunctional backpack performs on the mountain for you.

The LINE 30 from Evoc is a sports backpack focussing on skiing and snowboarding without an airbag system. With 30 litres of storage space, the lightweight backpack is ideal for almost all one-day mountain adventures.

As every year, we report on the most important ISPO highlights from the PowderGuide partners. The second part is about women's one-piece suits, an avalanche backpack from a backpack specialist, extremely light insulation jackets, equally light ski touring bindings and carbon skis and even more safety equipment. Some of the products will be presented as tests early next season. Have fun browsing!

With a packing volume of 125 liters and a relatively low weight of 4200g, the Evoc World Traveller is a practical trolley for all kinds of trips - regardless of whether you are travelling by train, bus or car. In its product flyer, Evoc promises products with high quality, ingenious details and clever features. The gear reviews show whether Evoc can keep its promise.

With the Patrol series, Evoc has backpacks in its program that cover practically the entire touring range in sizes 32, 40 and 55l. While the "small" 30l Patrol is ideal for extended day tours, the medium 40l model is not only suitable for very material-intensive activities, but also for multi-day tours with overnight stays in winter shelters, for example. The Patrol 55l is recommended for camping tours or very long trips with lots of gear.
