PowderGuide goes into summer
06/09/2026 • Theresa SchrannerThe blossoming of nature, birdsong and noticeably longer days already give it away: the cold months are coming to an end in our climes. For us snow enthusiasts, this means that we can either head off into the alpine touring season or say goodbye to the snow for the time being and look ahead to other adventures. For now, of course, because after the season is before the season! -

TouringTip | Zuckerhütl
02/05/2026 • Teja StüweOn a sunny Saturday early in the season - at a time when the snow conditions were still manageable and many ski tours were simply not feasible - we had the same brilliant idea as hundreds of others: Up to the Zuckerhütl, the highest peak in the Stubai Alps, popularly known as the "Hiatl".
