Just in time for the start of the season, the European Outdoor Film Tour is once again travelling through Europe, bringing with it athletic solo runs and exciting adventures. Since the German premiere on 16th of October 2024 in the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich, the program has been shown at more than 350 events in nine countries. The total play time is around 120 minutes.

It feels like we've only blinked once and the season is already over. But so much has happened and it's been great. The start in December was brilliant, hopes were high for an exceptional season - but the weather and winter had its own plans. From Christmas onwards, the Alps were hit by unusually mild temperatures, which continued throughout the winter. It was a season full of highs and lows - literally. Because while we were looking forward to the powder days, the snow cover retreated regrettably early to well over 1500 m altitude, and the touring options were massively restricted, especially at lower altitudes. But spring was kind to us, bringing back the winter for a good ten days in April and providing good conditions for the alpine touring season.

The ski touring season has long since begun and you can see ski tourers scaling the mountains everywhere. But what should you look out for while ski touring when it gets warmer? What is the right skin for me? What can I do about stubborn skins? We spoke to Sebastian Dorn from Sport Conrad and put together a brief overview of everything you need to know.
