Engelberg is a true paradise for winter sport and freeride enthusiasts. The region offers unrivalled opportunities for ski touring and freeriding. The Titlis massif is also very favourably situated for snow and receives fresh snow in both westerly and north-westerly accumulations. In the season report, we traditionally look back on the past winter. The snow conditions in 2022/23 were anything but good, although late snowfall in the spring made us feel a little better towards the end. However, the May powder doesn't hide the fact that it was a difficult season with too many sharks and too little snow. Nevertheless, there were of course some highlights, both on the mountain and on PowderGuide.com.

The WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF is opening its doors in Davos on June 24, 2023. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the researchers will give all interested parties an insight into their diverse activities.

The PowderGuide weather service is saying goodbye for the season, the usual data on new snow, snow depths, sunshine, etc. will no longer be updated from now on. We'll continue next winter!

"Bike-to-ski" is somehow trendy, although not too many skiers or ski tourers actually get on their bikes to reach the lift or starting point for a ski tour. Of course, the place of residence plays a major role here. The journey to the railway station or bus stop can also be covered quickly by bike in some circumstances and helps with the environmentally friendly journey to the snow.
